Pinakamasarap na Pad Thai

This post is for Thai food lovers. :-)

My favorite Thai food is the Pad Thai and Chicken Satay. Hindi naman sobrang dami ng natry namin na Thai resto but the three latest are the following: Banana Leaf, Soi, and Nara Thai Cuisine.

Here’s what I think of it.

Banana Leaf:

Chicken Satay - Very good. Super tasty. The sauce is what makes it yummy.

Pad thai - Waley. Not the authentic taste we were looking for. Not worth the price.

Cheese Prawn Balls - hindi nalalayo sa lasa ng mga balls na nabibili lang sa food court ng mga malls. In other words, waley din.

My hubby says the other Thai dishes he tasted there at the Banana Leaf resto were good. Hindi lang siguro kasali don ang Pad Thai. Hehe. To be fair, hindi naman Thai resto ang Banana Leaf talaga. It says Asian Restaurant. So hindi nila specialty ang Thai. Wag kasi mag expect. Nag excpect ako eh. Haha.

Soi:

This used to be our favorite Thai Resto. Lahat ng natikman namin were yummy - Pad Thai, Red Curry, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay and Tom Yum soup.

Yun nga lang they closed already. So hindi ko na masyadong ipupush yung pag review dito. Kasi useless na din. :D At first I thought sa Megamall lang sila nag close, but when we went to Greenhills, wala na din pala sila don. Sayang. Masarap pa naman.

** At dahil nawala na ang Soi, hindi ko na din makita yung mga pictures. :D

Nara Thai Cuisine:

So dahil nagsara na yung Soi sa Megamall, naghanap kami ng ibang Thai Resto. We found the Nara. Thai Cuisine. It’s located near 8 Cuts, Manam, etc. Kahilera ng mga dikit-dikit na resto in Megamall Fashion Hall, 3rd floor.

In my opinion, winner ang Pad Thai dito. Best Pad Thai I have ever tasted. Authentic taste talaga. Crunchy and tasty. I think yung egg na maliliit na yun, they fried it well to make it crunchy. Basta masarap sya. :D Price: P390 for sharing.

Spring Rolls were good too. The kids liked it. Price: P225.

The Red Beef Tenderloin Curry was ok, but it was a little expensive in my opinion. Hindi naman sobrang sarap and hindi din marami but it was a bit pricey for P555.

And the restaurant looks really pretty too. :D

Definitely recommend Nara Thai Cuisine for those who love Pad Thai or just Thai food in general.
