I'm not sure kung kami lang yung naka experience ng German Cockroach problem. But we used to have this cockroaches in the house, especially in the kitchen, cabinets, and dining area. Kahit anong linis mo, hindi sila nawawala. Maliliit lang sila and they're light brown, instead of the common black cockroaches. Kahit kumakain ka, they will attempt to go to your food. Unlike the black ones na pag madilim lang and walang taong lumalabas. Itong German Cockroaches, feeling house guest sila. Hahaha. Porke foreigner kayo, welcome kayo sa house namin? :D
In fairness, mas less eewie sila tignan than the black ones. Pero still, ipis pa din yan.
So anyway, one day na nasa mall kami, there was a stall na nagbebenta ng Zeroach. I got curious because I heard the man talking to a customer na nauna sa'min. So we waited for our turn then asked him about it. He knew everything about the German Roaches. Hahaha.
So ito yung mga sinabi nya about them:
1. Hindi sila namamatay sa Baygon. Nahihilo lang sila. Ang tibay diba?
2. They mostly live in condos. Sosyal!
3. Ang bilis nila mag reproduce. So for example, may isa lang na nakapasok, mabilis na silang dadami.
How Zeroach works according kay Kuya:
2. Magkaka trangkaso muna sila. Manghihina sila, then babalik sa mga lungga nila.
3. Tapos makakahawa sila sa ibang ipis.
4. Also, they eat their own so pag may mga patay na na ipis, wag daw alisin agad kasi kakainin nila yon, tapos malalason na din sila. Domino effect. So ubos sila.
It sounded too good to be true, pero very confident si Kuya and he seemed to know his stuff. O diba? Super confident si Kuya. He added na may bumalik nga daw na customer just that day to buy more kasi ipang reregalo nya sa mga friends nya na may same problem kasi super effective nga daw. I think yung price ng Zeroach was P285 each. Size is 10 mg. May promo sana sya na 3 for P650 I think but we decided to try just one pack first.
Below is an actual picture.

So ganyan sya, parang syringe. Suggestion ni Kuya was to put it in movable things like softdrinks cover, etc. and not directly on the surfaces. Wala naman kaming bottle covers so what we did was to put it in one peso coins para nga naman pwede mo ilipat lipat kung san ka may nakikita na maraming ipis.
The good thing about this is hindi sya harmful for kids. Walang unpleasant smell. You just have to be careful na hindi mataob yung lalagyan para hindi masayang ung nilagay mo na Zeroach don sa coin or cover. Maliliit na drops lang. Hindi kailangang marami. I think yung 10 mg we were able to put in around 15 coins. Kinalat namin sa house.
The result? The next day, may mga nakikita na kmeng ipis na namamatay. And mind you, when you see them, hindi yung ordinary lang na patay na ipis. They're paper thin. Parang papel nalang sila sa nipis. Kasi nga trinangkaso muna. So tama si Kuya. Ganon nga nangyayari sa kanila. Mukhang dehydrated talaga sila. As instructed, hindi lahat ng namatay winalis namin. After a week, wala na kaming nakikitang ipis. Ang galing! Super effective talaga and I was super happy. Wala na kmeng kasamang foreigner sa bahay. Hahaha.
We decided to buy again for maintenance. Para lang if may maligaw every once in a while. Nag sisi tuloy kami that we didn't buy the 3 for P650 promo he was offerring. It's a good thing laging andyan si Lazada to the rescue. I found Zeroach there and although medyo may difference sila sa appearance, it was just as effective.
Eto sya. Good job Lazada and seller!

So that's it. I hope this helps to those who are having the same "foreign ipis" problems as we are. :D
Til next time!
